About Fixray
Fixray is maintenance tracking software that lets hotels, event venues and conference centres report, triage and fix maintenance issues from a phone, with a photo and a timestamped record against every job.
It replaces the WhatsApp group, the spreadsheet and the notebook by the back door with one list the whole team can use. Staff report in seconds, managers see everything open in one place, and fixers close each job with a proof photo.
What Fixray does
Report
Staff report an issue straight from their phone — snap a photo, pick the location, and tap submit. Fixray reads the photo and auto-fills a clear description and the likely category, so reporting is faster than typing a WhatsApp message.
Triage
Every report lands in one live list instead of a scrolling feed. Managers see what is open, what is overdue, and who is on it — with a priority and an SLA timer on every issue.
Fix
Fixers pick up assigned work and close it out from the same phone. Marking a job done requires a completion photo, so “I thought it was handled” stops being a failure mode.
Prove
Every issue keeps a full timestamped audit trail — who reported it, who picked it up, when it closed, and the proof photo against it. When an insurer, an EHO, or your GM asks whether something is done, the record is already there.
Hotels, conference centres, and event venues in the UK carry statutory compliance duties, and run a stack of operational regimes to meet them — SFG20-aligned planned preventative maintenance (PPM), Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), fixed-wire (EICR) testing, Legionella control under the L8 ACoP, and recurring fire-safety inspections of alarms, emergency lighting, and fire doors. Fixray produces the per-asset photo, timestamp, and assignee record these regimes require, so the evidence is there when an insurer, an EHO, or a client asks.
Fixray supports the record-keeping these standards require. It does not replace a competent person — your responsible person still signs off.
What makes Fixray different
Free for the whole reporting team
Fixray's Log plan is free forever, with unlimited Reporters and unlimited issues. MaintainX, Limble and UpKeep charge per licensed user, so their bill grows every time another housekeeper or porter needs to report a fault. Fixray vs MaintainX
Priced per site, and published
Snapfix, the closest photo-first tool, publishes no pricing, so every quote starts with a sales call. Fixray's prices are on the website: Track is £59/month, or £47/month billed annually, per site. Fixray vs Snapfix
Faster than a WhatsApp message
Staff snap a photo and tap submit. Fixray reads the photo and fills in the description and category, so reporting a fault takes less effort than typing it into the group chat, and nothing scrolls out of sight. Fixray vs WhatsApp
Proof on every job
Fixers close each job with a completion photo, and every issue keeps a timestamped trail of who reported it, who fixed it and when. At Meridian Grand, 3 in 4 completed jobs closed with a proof photo (Apr–Jul 2026). Read the Meridian Grand story
Live in a day, cancel any time
Most teams are live within a working day, with nothing to install or train: the team reports from the phones they already carry. Paid plans run month-to-month or annually and can be cancelled at any time, with no cancellation fees. See pricing

The team behind Fixray

Chris Morgan
Founder
Chris Morgan founded Fixray after a decade as a B2B SaaS operator, working across product, operations and commercial teams. While advising Meridian Grand, a 200-capacity wedding venue in North London, he watched the team run maintenance through a WhatsApp group because the software on offer was either an enterprise CMMS priced for a hospital group or a help-desk tool retrofitted for buildings.
Fixray is the stripped-down alternative: built for the way a venue team actually reports and fixes faults, priced for a single venue, with room to grow to many sites.
Built with Meridian Grand
Meridian Grand is Fixray's design partner: the working venue where Fixray's workflows are shaped and tested.
“I've stopped waking up at 3am wondering what we missed.”

Frequently asked questions
What is Fixray?
Fixray is a maintenance tracking platform built for hotels, venues, and event spaces. It replaces WhatsApp groups and spreadsheets with photo-based reporting, SLA tracking, recurring maintenance, and real-time analytics — accessible from any phone.
Who is Fixray for?
Fixray is designed for operations teams at hotels, event venues, conference centres, serviced apartments, and hospitality groups. It works equally well for a single 20-room boutique hotel or a multi-site group with hundreds of rooms.
Do I pay per user?
No. Fixray is priced per site, not per user — there are no per-seat fees. Reporters are unlimited on every plan, including Log (free). Log includes 2 Managers and 2 Fixers per site; Track and Operate include unlimited Managers and Fixers. Add your whole front-of-house and housekeeping teams without counting seats.
How long does setup take?
Most teams are live within a working day. Give us your sites and your fixer list, and we'll have the whole team invited the same day — each reporter is logging within a minute of tapping their invite, with nothing to install or train. Meridian Grand was reporting issues on day one and had a full week of closed jobs by week two.
